Who we are

What we collect
- Account details: name, email address and password credentials.
- Estate information: details of the deceased, assets, liabilities, gifts and beneficiaries that you choose to enter.
- Documents you upload, such as scans of a will or valuations.
- Payment records (card details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us).
- Technical data: IP address, device information and audit logs of key actions.
Why we process it
- To provide the guided self-help service you have asked for (performance of a contract).
- To keep records secure and detect misuse (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
- To send service emails about your estate workspace.
Information about people who have died
Data protection law does not apply to a deceased person in the same way as to a living person, but we treat estate records as confidential regardless. Information about beneficiaries and other living individuals is personal data and is protected accordingly.
Sharing
- Hosting, database and email providers acting on our instructions.
- Payment processors, for the purpose of taking payment.
- Professional advisers or authorities where we are legally required to disclose.
- We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Estate records are retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards so that you can return to completed work. You may request deletion at any time, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

- Access a copy of your personal data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion or restriction of processing.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Request portability of data you provided to us.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
